When necessary or required, we will dismantle or fell any size of tree, from small garden trees to large park trees, removing trees that overhang roads, properties or structures such as garages or greenhouses.
Ensuring young trees are pruned correctly in their formative years is as important as caring for mature or even diseased trees. To achieve healthy growth and prevent structural weakness young trees should be pruned to remove dead, rubbing and congested branches.
More mature trees may require either Crown Thinning (removing branches to make the tree less dense), Crown Reduction (cutting the ends of all the branches in sympathy with the species and age of the tree to reduce the overall size of the tree), or Crown Lifting (removing the lowest branches).
A Tree Preservation Order provides statutory protection to individual trees, groups of trees and woodlands when the tree/s are considered of amenity value and there may be a risk of work being done to them that would harm that value. We can provide advice and can help with TPO applications.
These trees are often ancient and careful management can often preserve them and prolong their life. As each tree will have a different story please contact us for a free consultation.
